Kemi was born in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria but currently resides in London, UK. She received her professional Dance and Performing Arts training at BRIT School of Performing Arts, London Studio Centre and Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre School (New York). Her career has a vast range from Contemporary dance companies to West End Productions, National Theatre, Tours, Commercials, and Campaigns & Corporate for brands such as Malibu and Red bull. Furthermore, she has been featured in Music Videos, Music Award Shows, T.V and Film. Kemi is an emerging Choreographer and was privileged to have assisted with choreography for Game Of Thrones (HBO Networks). What remains core to Kemi is her African upbringing in Nigeria as well as amongst the African Caribbean community of South London. She uses and performs dance styles and techniques such as Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, Jazz, Fusion, West African Traditional, Hip Hop, Capoeira, Aerial Acrobatics, High Life, AfroHouse, Dancehall, her own unique blend of Modern African dance/Afrobeats called AFROJAM and much more. Her passion and love draws her to celebrate and share African Diaspora Dance with the world and her energetic teaching style & personality is guaranteed to get everybody sweating, smiling and having a great time.
