Carla started training at a young age of 3 at Dance Consortium and then went on to complete her professional training at Middlesex University and gained a 1st class honours degree in dance performance and choreography. Since then she has toured with many contemporary companies as well as choreographing prestigious shows and events for royalty, her latest credits have been gaining the Marion Roberts Choreographic Cup for the past 2 years, choreographing “Cabaret” for the Queen of Spain and working with resident west end choreographer and producer Christina Cartwright..
Carla is the founder of contemporary dance at Associates Dance School where she teaches all disciplines of dance including national, modern, tap, jazz, lyrical, tricks, core technique classes and contemporary. Carla has many students who are currently in training at professional dance colleges which include Millennium, Performers, Laines, Arts Ed Tring, London Studio Centre and the Royal Ballet and can be found dancing with the Royal Ballet in Swan Lake, on tour with the Sugarbabes and Girls Aloud as well as appearing on Xfactor and the MOBO awards. Many of her younger students are can be found performing in Billy Elliott, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Oliver, Mary Poppins, Les Miserables and the Sound of Music. Carla is a guest teacher at Millennium Performing Arts College.
